Diet is a four letter word, but nutrition is sexy!
Today, “everything in moderation” has become my personal mantra. Though finding this balance initially didn’t come easy, I have found peace in embracing the journey rather than forcing change. Eating great food has always been a big part of my life. Now, rather than an enemy, food has become part of a healthy and well balanced lifestyle for me. The kitchen is my perfect place to unwind and channel my creativity. Cooking a meal, becoming intimately familiar with the ingredients and how they contribute to the overall flavor profile and nutritional value of a dish rocks my world! I have discovered by having a positive relationship with the food I eat, I now lead a much more fulfilling and balanced life.
I have also had the pleasure of discovering yoga and through that community have gained a support system that keeps me excited and connected to my mat daily. I am thankful for this beautiful life I have been given and wish to honor it by making wise choices through diet and exercise. Though I will always be a work in progress, I now feel comfortable working towards achieving the truly remarkable personal self I have always wanted to be.
